Jonathan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Middlebury College in 1998 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a filmmaking career. For over 15 years he worked in commercials, television, and feature films as a visual effects artists and editor. These years honed Jonathan’s ability to learn and adapt to complex and changing technology while managing demanding project schedules.
Jonathan changed careers in 2017 and joined SeaCure Advisors in Lexington, KY. Jon grew a practice serving a wide range of clients – from families sending their kids to college for the first time, to busy professionals needing long term investment growth strategies, to retirees needing tax-efficient income and legacy plans. Jon’s dedication to providing a high level of objectively valuable service to such a diverse client base opened his eyes to the vacuum of unified investment, insurance, tax, and estate planning solutions available from the majority of financial advisory firms. The search for a solution to this problem led to SeaCure partnering with Accurate Advisory Group in 2021.
Jonathan lives in Lexington, KY with his beautiful and patient wife, two vibrant daughters, and a small menagerie of animals. He spends his free time building janky stuff for his chickens (right angles are his nemesis); learning how to garden; smoking large slabs of meat; playing guitar; and exploring Kentucky’s many beautiful towns, trails, and rivers.
