Mark Belanian

Mark Belanian has been a securities Trader for over 25 years. Mark grew up in the northeast and Europe and has lived with his family in Sarasota FL for the last 24 years. He started his career with the Phoenix Investment Partners in their Mutual Fund division and transitioned to trading when he joined Chris Bertelsen and the Phoenix Hollister Value team in 2000. In 2005, the Phoenix Hollister team started Aviance Capital where Mark assumed the role of Director of Trading. From 2005 to 2017, Aviance Capital in partnership with Global Financial Private Capital raised over $6 billion dollars in assets under management. Most recently, Mark was the Director of Trading for ThinkBetter, LLC, a quantitative based investment management company which managed ETFs and portfolio models for various financial Institutions. During his career as an Institutional trader, Mark has traded for Mutual Funds, Closed End funds , Institutional accounts, Separately managed accounts, high net worth clients and most recently, ETFs. Mark attended both The University of Miami and Trinity College, located in Hartford, CT., where he earned his B.A. in Languages and Economics.
